Thank you for looking at our Post 16 website. We are proud of the offer that we can make and the opportunity that we can provide students with after GCSEs and we want to encourage you to come and meet with us and learn more about our sixth form.
At the heart of our small community are a fantastic group of students working together to achieve great results to secure positive and promising futures for themselves. Ably and keenly supported by a committed group of staff, our students primarily study A-level courses which lead them onto university and higher level apprenticeships. In small class sizes our students work collaboratively and make tremendous progress under the guidance and tutelage of subject specialists. Consistently over recent years our results have seen us placed high up the performance tables for North Yorkshire post 16 providers.
Alongside strong teaching and outcomes we ensure that every student is well looked after in our sixth form with a strong ethos of care and support at the heart of everything that we do. Since joining the Outwood family of schools in 2017 the results in our sixth form have been transformed for the better. We are keen that all of our sixth form students benefit from everything that any sixth form can offer and we work closely with our students to listen to their suggestions to improve their sixth form experience.

Leading a school with a sixth form is a real privilege for any Principal and I am so proud of our fantastic sixth form students who bring such a lot to the school. My staff and I relish working alongside these post 16 students at this formative stage in their education, and we are proud that, over the last few years, many students have succeeded and moved onto the next stage with excellent results, having developed into the outstanding young citizens that will give back such a lot to society.
I recognise the importance of choosing an effective post 16 provider and can give strong reassurance to all prospective students and parents that Outwood Academy Easingwold provides an aspirational, fulfilling and successful environment for all of our students. We make sure that it is an environment with high standards, which puts students first and transforms lives for the better.
